We have taken action to bring about a carbon footprint reduction within our operations. We are the sole UK industrial refrigeration distributor for some of the most well-respected European and American equipment manufacturers. Many of our suppliers have very robust environmental credentials. Likewise, our customers often use the equipment we supply to make both financial savings and as a key component of their Environmental Improvement Plans.
It is important that we do our bit and so we have updated our Environmental Policy to ensure we contribute to a carbon footprint reduction by switching to electric vehicles. Our MD, Andrew Forster, is shown with one of our new EV chargers and said “We are changing our company car Policy to only use vehicles that are hybrid or fully electric and have therefore, installed EV chargers. These is just one of the actions we have taken to reduce our carbon footprint as we deliver our industrial refrigeration equipment services”.
The EV charger in our Peterborough depot was proficiently installed by a local company PPVS with expert guidance from Richard Joyce.
